Yes. Yes I Am.

I’ve come to the conclusion that continuing to refer to myself as Pines Lake Redhead is a little impersonal. Especially, when I know so many of your names. Don’t worry, my blog title won’t change but I plan to start using a nom de plume.

For those of you who do know me personally, you already know that I have my own quirky reasons for not putting my real name out there in the blogosphere. I may be a bit of a worrier but that only adds to my charm, right?

I always imagined that if I ever became a famous actress, singer, authoress, photographer, or motivational speaker, I would use the professional name Emma Alexander Baxter. Yes, there is significance to the name. It’s a combination of family names put together and the initials match my own. But I’ve decided not to confuse anyone and be bold at the same time. I’ve decided to use my actual first name. So from now on my blogging nom de plume will be Erica Alexander Baxter.

Now, if I was ever to become and exotic dancer, my professional name would be a toss-up between Amber Waves or Misty Autumn. But at this point in my life I can’t see myself making that kind of career change.

However, I wouldn’t mind being a Bond Girl. Unfortunately, in my personal opinion, the three best Bond Girl names have already been used. I would have a difficult time coming up with a new one.

In the meantime, feel free to continue to call me Pines Lake Redhead or PLRH. Or make the transition over to Erica or EAB. I’ll answer to any of them.

One day when I’m famous, someone will ask me, “Are you Erica Alexander Baxter?” and I will answer, “Yes. Yes I am.”

Note: "Yes. Yes I am." is what Bridget Jones' friend, Tom (the poof) says whenever a stranger asks him if he's that famous pop star from the 80's.

Have there been red-headed Bond girls?? I'm not sure. If not, we should both apply for the job; he won't know what hit him!

What's in a name, anyway? I'll read what you write - no matter what your name is!

Hello Erica! Pleeeezdtameetcha! ;o)

That's a fantastic name. I would love to be a Bond Girl too but I don't know if I could keep up with the sexy outfits. Looking good in that stuff takes ENERGY... not to mention packing heat and doing all that spy stuff... gah. Who has time?

:o) Hope you're having a wonderful day!

@Wendy - I'm so honored to be part of your morning routine!

@Maureen - Strawberry Fields (my third favorite Bond Girl name) was a redhead in Quantum of Solace. But she died. Jill St. John was a ditzy redhead in Diamonds are forever but I can't remember the character's name.

@SuziCate - No worries! Krista inspired me to "come out" a little bit.

@Peg - Pleeeezdtameetcha too!

@Kristen - You'll be the one jogging behind the stroller, right?

@Jane - A nose by any other name still smells the same... I'm mean a rose.

@Krista - Keeping up with sexy Bond Girl outfits would be hard work with those desserts your mom makes!

@Maureen - Btw, you're right... James Bond couldn't handle TWO redheads at the same time.
