I Can't Eat Another Bite

This past weekend can be summed up in one word... FOOD.

From the Scottish pub on Friday night to burgers at the folks' house last night I managed to eat my way through the weekend without cooking a single thing. The highlighted activities were a Rays baseball game Saturday night with Gropius and Husband and Bacon Day on Sunday. Both included food but Bacon Day was far and away the winner.

The Rays beat the White Sox so the dome of Tropicana Field was lit up orange. Get it?
At the game my Sweetie and I indulged in junk food. I had a hot dog and a giant pretzel. He had the pulled pork and a bag of peanuts. I really wanted some Cracker Jack or ice cream but I knew I needed to pace myself through the weekend.

Bacon Day Brunch! What Bacon Day would be complete without bacon?
What you don't see is the huge plate of fresh fruit that I also ate.

After a movie that included popcorn, we ate dinner at an oyster bar. Guess what the guys had for an appetizer...

Just in case you need a closer look.

I went for the peel and eat shrimps.

What better way to end a great family day than with homemade ice cream sundaes?

All the photos were taken with my phone.

Bacon Day? How did I not know there was a day dedicated to bacon? Will have to mark the calendar for next year.

WOW!!! How much fun does that weekend sound. The shrimp look so good. So did the Oysters, but I just can't eat them any more.
